
Mário Henriques HUMA-NØYD, born in Santarém, founded the live Huma-Nøyd project in 1995, a sound entity that defies convention and envelops the audience with a hypnotic energy. Moving in the shadows of Techno and Progressive, combines pulsating rhythms with a personal and enigmatic narrative. Steering away from commercial trends, Huma-Nøyd creates productions that reflect a versatile and mysterious soul. His music, intense and ahead of its time guides listeners through ethereal and subterranean soundscapes, providing a magnetic and unforgettable experience. His career is marked by remarkable milestones. In 1997, he took part in the Neptunus Music Festival, a pivotal moment that led him to join the prestigious X-Club The Agency. In 2011, at the invitation of DJ Rush, he joined kne’deep, making headlines on some of the world’s biggest stages, such as the Tomorrowland and Awakenings festivals, and in mythical clubs such as Tresor in Berlin and Fabrik in Madrid. He has shared the booth with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Carl Cox, Plastikman, Adam Beyer, Dave Clarke and Luke Slater.
